FAD is specialized in the production of large mechanical parts, in steel or iron, especially for the mining, cement and sugar refinery markets. FAD also offers its services and technical expertise for custom melting, custom machining, heat treatment as well as its covered premises for mounting and assembly.

Indeed, we attach great importance to the principles of honesty and transparency and we are committed to establishing with our customers a solid and lasting relationship based on trust and mutual interest. FAD thus undertakes, within the framework of its activities, to ensure the protection, confidentiality and security of your personal data as well as to respect your privacy


First of all, we respect the provisions of the European Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) as well as the various national legal provisions regarding the protection of personal data.


The purpose of this Privacy Policy is to transparently describe why we collect and use your personal data when you visit and use the website hereinafter the "Site".


This Policy is applicable to all Site Visitors.

Within this Privacy Policy, the words or expressions below will have the following meanings:


Visitor (s): any natural person having access to the FAD website, regardless of where they are and how they connect to the Site.

Article 3 - Processing, collection, use of personal data


We may collect Data from you, or receive data from you, via our Site or our various forms. Processing methods. Data processing is carried out using computers or IT tools, following the procedures and organizational methods closely linked to the purposes indicated.


Recipients of the data collected. The data collected is intended only for internal FAD services (in particular the employees in charge of processing your request). We will not sell your personal data to third parties or market them in any way.


The data processed can also be transmitted to the competent authorities, to public bodies, at their request, within the framework of legal proceedings or research, requests for information or in order to comply with other legal obligations.

List of rights. The General Data Protection Regulation (hereinafter the “GDPR”) grants you certain rights concerning the data processed by FAD:

  • Right of rectification: You have the right to check the accuracy of your Data and to request that it be updated or corrected (Art 16 GDPR).

  • Right to erasure: You have the right, under certain conditions, to obtain the erasure of your Data from FAD (Art 17 GDPR).

  • Right to portability: You have the right to recover your Data in a structured, commonly used and readable format and, if technically possible, to transmit them for use by a third-party service (Art 20 GDPR).

  • Right to limit the processing of your Data and to object to the processing of your data: You have the right to ask FAD to temporarily or permanently stop the processing of all or part of your Data (Art 18 GDPR).

  • Right to lodge a complaint: You have the right to lodge a complaint with the national competent authority for data protection in your country to challenge the practices of our company in terms of protection of personal data and respect for private life. (Art. 77 GDPR).


Exercise of rights. Any request to exercise the rights of the data subject can be sent to FAD using the contact details provided in this document. These requests can be exercised free of charge and will be studied by FAD as soon as possible and this within a reasonable period of one month.


Terms. FAD will thus respond to any request from a Visitor after verification of his identity.


Article 5 - Storage and deletion of data


Conservation. We keep your Data only for the time necessary to achieve the purpose for which it was collected, in order to meet your needs or to allow us to meet our legal obligations.


Beyond this period, your Data may be subject to intermediate archiving, with restricted access, in particular for the purposes of proof, in accordance with legal requirements and the applicable rules on archiving.

The Site may display third-party advertisements and other content redirecting to third-party websites. It cannot control or be responsible for the content and privacy practices of third parties.
